Amy Levine

Amy Levine, M.A. is a sexologist and sexuality educator with over 15 years of experience. She received her Master's Degree in Human Sexuality from New York University, and certification from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).

Known for many years as Cosmopolitan Magazine's Carnal Counselor, and writer for Go Ask Alice, Amy has provided millions of readers with practical, honest, and medically accurate sexuality information in these weekly Q & A columns. Amy has also written many articles and other publications, and has been quoted in numerous magazines and on the web including AOL, Best Life, Men's Health, Self, Seventeen, SheKnows, and Women's Health.

Amy coaches singles and couples helping with orgasm and desire difficulties, increasing sexual satisfaction, dating dilemmas, communication, talking with their children about sexuality, and more. She teaches her clients about sexual health, female and male hot spots, contraception, getting and giving more sexual pleasure, and other related topics. Additionally, Amy provides her expertise to leading organizations, companies, and the media ensuring a comprehensive approach to sexuality. She also presents workshops at local and national conferences and events.

For over a decade, Amy worked at the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS), as the Information Services Manager and Parent-Child Communications expert. During this time she provided thousands of people in the media, health and education profession, and the general public, with information, advice, and guidance on a wide range of sexuality issues.
